People want to help

Someone I barely know invited me to lunch weeks ago and I didn’t know why and my antisocial part kind of didn’t want to, but I didn’t know why she wanted to so I didn’t want to say no. I said yes.

She wanted to be nice to a fired USAID worker and it was very important to her. 

And wow. 

And a couple of my blip friends are helping me. It makes an impact on me and I appreciate it. 

This gentleman I recognize from years ago. I took a picture of a gorgeous mural near him, which is now gone, and of him. Today I only had my cell phone but he offered to pose for me again anyway. I wish I’d gotten his eyes better. 

Marco Rubio began firing 1350 State Department employees today. This man, months ago, told a worried USAID employee in Guatemala, “trust me.” If you could see a diseased soul I wonder what it would look like.  

It looks like Trump may have broken up with Putin, which suggests that there really isn’t a pee tape, or that Trump doesn’t remember there being a pee tape. 

“Italy said on Thursday that firms that have helped Russia fund its war on Ukraine by doing business with the country should be excluded from profiting from Ukraine's reconstruction.” I completely agree Italy.
