Chocolate Mountain

I was up early to get a couple of loads of washing done and strung up before me and mum headed out for our haircuts.  Having such short hair was a bonus for me on a hot day as there was no need to sit and be blow dried for an age.

When we got back, the boy was home! He had a great time on his holiday with Bobbie.  His only grumble was that he picked up a little bit of sunburn.  He came back with a massive sun brolly that he had bought to hide under and read his book after that whilst Bobbie lay out and baked.  He must have Snook genes - opting for a book and shade over the sun’s rays.

So, after tackling yet more washing to get Leo’s holiday gear all washed and hung out we headed out for lunch.  This was Leo’s massive dessert and he enjoyed every mouthful!

It was a baking hot day so we stayed in and tried to stay cool for the rest of the day.  I headed out around 6:15 to get to the first of my gym classes. The other ladies were lovely so we should have a good time in our next few sessions.  In our first class we just tried out various machines and exercises.  I have a new favourite machine - the skier.  You can really feel it working the back of your arms and it makes a very satisfying swishing noise as you do it.
