Moist Burdock

I was out very early again this morning (05:30) in beautiful cool air. Most of my walk was down a lane with hedges on both sides, so I was able to keep in the shade.

There was a lot dew on the grass and also some moisture droplets on these burdock flowers..view large if you can :-)

Slightly maddened to witness a chap watering his front garden with a hosepipe at that time of the morning (despite the hosepipe ban that started yesterday)..he clearly was not expecting anyone to be about because as soon as he saw me he dropped the hose..it was a spray ‘gun’ type, so fortunately the flow would have stopped. He then disappeared rapidly into his house… grrrrr…
