40 years ago today

Waking mid morning, sleep by now being well and truly caught up upon, I dashed into Hyde to collect my prescription before the chemist closed, then in the early afternoon had a stroll across the playing fields to spend a few hours with Mum, Dad & Peggy in their garden, shade bathing out of the hot sun.

Am currently sat with youngest in her hut with Shadow. We are watching Live-Aid. Blip is of The Style Council's Dee-Cee Lee, belting it out after the concert was opened by Quo. Youngest muses that it's not exactly Live, being filmed 40 years ago. I mentioned that it was when I first watched it and she suggested that I may be old...charming! ;-D

Am typing this as Midge is Dancing with Tears in his Eyes and I'm thinking of making tea. Stir fry with Salmon maybe. Despite the volume, Shadow is curled up asleep.
