Hunting

I had a fun day at the horse event in spite of it being very hot and humid.  I got there a bit after 8 and stayed until around 2.  Scattered clouds gave me some decent shooting conditions and I used the sunny periods to experiment with settings.  I came home with 1300 images which I've whittled down to about 300.  I will do one more pass tomorrow to try to get the total number down to around 200.  

Hubs and his friend Mike ran some errands, went to the farmers market, and worked on their cars.  I think my day was more fun.  

Spending a day photographing was exactly what I needed to do today - kept my mind off of missing the trip to Brazil.  And horses are just so beautiful.  I will put a couple of shots in Extra that I like - candid stuff. 

And now I am going to sit down with a book and probably go to bed early.
