DESPERATE MEASURES

It’s been a busy day, & I am off to meet a friend at a new taco place, so here is
the novel (500 pages!) I am reading for book club.

It was written in 1990 & both authors are
well known in the fantasy/comedy world, so I am guessing you might be familiar with
it or the series.

This SILLY novel is a satire about the battle, on earth, between good & evil, with
a huge dose of comedy. There must be
50 characters, all of which are completely
inept. I am half way through & hope
the plot comes together soon. So far,
it would offend any person of faith; &
is probably banned in the Bible Belt of the US. I do love how the authors’ add wit &
poke fun throughout, a bit like Shakespeare.

I did not vote for this book; & actually
recommended choosing books under 400 pages. I was voted down, but suspect
few will finish this one.

It may allow us to revisit the 400 pages
limit.
