2025 Saturday — Slow Walking

This is a continuation from yesterday’s report about Mitzi.

Today Mitzi wanted out the back door and when I let her out, with a brief spurt of energy, she sauntered up the ramp to the top patio. It's her favorite place to go potty.

We know she is shutting down and we are days away from goodbye. We're praying she would die peacefully of natural causes; it seems that rarely happens. We're both struggling with the sadness of this; we're not ready for her to leave.
