St Henry 11 was a Holy Roman Emperor who strongly defended the Catholic Church at the dawn of a new millennium
Patron saint of Benedictine Oblates.

Sea Sunday.

I got up early to be ready in time for the 9am Eucharistic Mass at the Parish Church.

I saw a few butterflies on my way to Church. Not many people were about. It was very warm with a pleasant breeze. 24c.

It was a lovely Mass, covered by Fr Jean from Adlington. The stone building was wonderfully cool.

I had a pleasant walk with Joan and Jim afterwards. Somehow we got onto the topic of how expensive dentistry is. They had the same good dentist for 40 years until a stroke meant they had to find a new dental practice. Now they are with Bupa.

I came home and made Paul and me some tea. We had a catch up chat. I then sprayed the house plants.

The plants in the wall planter have done well in the heat, so definitely recommendable for their
resilience.
Enjoy a lovely Sunday, blip friends and thank you for visiting my site today.
