Today is a mixture of closeness, breeze, sunshine and showers. The grey clouds are drifting low overhead threatening more rain but the wind is preventing that.

I have had a fairly busy morning with housework, washing and drying. It is 23.8c indoors so still an effort to do physical work.

Holly and Hunter have been napping. Holly is on the armchair snoozing and Hunter is jumping about upstairs. Jasper has visited twice.

Thankfully it rained overnight so the flowerpots didn't need watering. The nasturtiums have done well but the stems are covered in black fly. Perhaps the ladybirds will eat them.

Paul completed the wooden musical box and it is a delightful work of art. It plays a waltz tune.

We chose a wooden train for his next project. He loves making these models. From Amazon and there are many good choices depending on your interests.

Have a lovely Monday blip friends and its good Escape to the Country is back on again now the tennis has finished. The final was exciting .
