Latitude 12 …

… is the name of the restaurant where we ate tonight, in Nhulunbuy on the western shore of the Gulf of Carpentaria in the Northern Territory. I checked (of course) and found that we are exactly on 12 degrees south latitude. We dined with our tour companions for the next12 days who seem an agreeable group.
