Where I am not....

..sitting!  It is still too hot out there and there is no bird action anyway, as I took down the feeders this week.. The neighbourhood rats seem to be multiplying at an alarming rate and letting their friends know that there is lots to eat in my garden! 

We are in a heat wave and it looks as if it is going to continue all next week. Maggie and I are taking it easy indoors in AC these days (extra). I have only been venturing out in the early mornings or late evenings to water the new plantings. I tried walking around the block a couple of evenings just to get out and move, but it was not the wisest idea. 

I am feeling somewhat better today and hoping that continues. My doctor and I have been working since last fall (!) to wean me off all the  extra meds I was given for high BP when in the hospital. So far, my BP is still too low. I am hoping that withdrawing this last drug will help raise it and bring back some of my old zip.
