Knit One, Purl Two

..ooops ...Missed that shot!  Heads Up! Alcaraz vs Sinner? Knitting and watching TV at the same time just doesn't work! 

Another day of heat and humidity so I did not go out at all...We had a good rain mid-day so going out to water the new plants wasn't necessary.  It was a day to watch tennis, read a novel and knit a bit. I haven't had a knitting project out for ages, so I must be feeling a bit better? 

My friend Mary in the Maritimes who volunteers at her lovely little local art gallery, called me up on FaceTime  to give me a tour on her iPad of the new exhibition that has just opened. What a treat. I do miss going to Grand Manan a lot - have not been there since before Covid - and one of the things I loved there were these art gallery exhibitions featuring art by local amateur artists as well as professional ones from there and afar. This latest exhibit has some wonderful pieces that I would be happy to have in my home! 

I see that we have more heat wave alerts for next week...Hmm I may get a lot of reading done - and maybe even make some headway on those socks.
