(Another) Curve-billed thrasher

This one looks like a juvenile.  I worry about young birds.  They are so vulnerable and don't seem to be afraid of humans or predators.  When I see one in the yard I try to get it to fly off.  Sometimes I'm successful.  Sometimes not so much.  Here it's sitting in a cholla cactus.

It's been a quiet Saturday filled with mostly laundry and straightening up the house.  The one bad thing that happened was that one of the five wheels on my office chair broke off.   My mom bought it for me when I lived in Maryland 20+ years ago so I'm really attached to it.  It was probably about time something happened to it but I'm still going to try to use it.
