House sparrow

This is a nice piece done by my grandson which he gave me today.  He has a book with lots of birds to be made using small pieces of stick on paper…look carefully and you can see where a few bits do not quite join. Very effective design. 

This morning I did various jobs around the house and then went to daughters for lunch and we watched the women’s tennis doubles. 
Visited the garden centre on the way home and bought some dahlias. I was going to buy hydrangeas to replace a dead one but all were in full flower so would not last too long in this weather. 

Now relaxing watching the men’s doubles…..a very tight match. I thought Alcaraz would win but after one set all not so sure!
