Same you know what, different day.

I realised at blip time that the only photo I took today was of a similar view of our back garden as yesterday and I didn't want to blip that same view so I am posting one of a silver ring I bought (on impulse) recently.
Lazy day as very hot again.
I got up early to publish my new adventure lab as the bonus cache was due to be published at 8am. Both were completed / found this morning by cachers named agent_stelios and Roving Rosie.
We had a disaster at teatime when the small frying pan with a lot of hot oil in it was not placed back on the hob properly and fell - I reached out (instinct not plan) to catch it and burnt my hand while the mess fell on the kitchen floor spreading the oil over a large area at the same time.
This was fun to clean up - not! My hand looks OK - I did have it under the cold tap for ages - but this weather the cold water is fairly tepid. It doesn't feel OK though - feels tingly and a bit burny. Hoping it will feel better tomorrow. I had hold of an ice lolly in it (wrapped) for a while later.
It feels hotter than ever in the house this evening - hope it cools down soon. Thundery showers are forecast for tomorrow - most of the time these never materialise but I would be pleased to see them!
