Guess whose suffering from the heat?

We live on a hill ( see photo) so a car is a necessity not a luxury.

Now my 13-year-old Fiesta has started showing its age .
The driver’s seatbelt is jammed. OK this happens from time to time, and I know ( thanks to Google) that it’s heat related.

Given our unpredictable weather this means it can go months and functions fine then without warning it sticks.

Also, my research revealed  seatbelts should be replaced after10 years.
I wonder if any Blipper does this?
 
The solution is a trip to the garage, a new seatbelt and a workout for my credit card.
Such is life.
