Belated Mother's day adventure

Today my own mother would have been 106, so it was lovely to spend the day with my beautiful girl!

She wanted to take me somewhere I'd never been,  so we headed to Belle Isle for the afternoon. 

Al came with us, and we had a great time in the aquarium and the conservatory.  

I got to see a lighthouse I'd never seen,  but didn't get a pic of that.  Then we stopped in the Nature center and were wowed by the quality of the exhibits 

It was a lovely day!!
