Long Weekend

On a long weekend, due to the 4th of July holiday, we took to the mountains for some more camping. We were once again near Mt. Princeton, but this time Lily's whole family joined (extra), even some from out of town! We spent two nights in a dispersed camping area (no water or amenities) enjoying the nice cool weather. We had a nice little visitor around the site, a little alpine squirrel kept an eye on us (extra)! He frequently checked if we had forgot about any food, he had no luck. Whidbey found him entertaining but he is not the type to chase the wildlife, too much work. 

Pictured above is at Lost Lake near Cottonwood pass, we came back here to show the family this nice hike. It was rainy start but then warmed up after, luckily Whidbey had his alpine lake to cool off in (extra).
