Sunny Sunday
The day started with thick haar. After last night's drama with WH's reaction to something and the communication confusion (for which I take responsibility), that led to a decision that in the cold light of day was uncharacteristic there was an uninterrupted night. WH was much better this morning but still not 100%, very puffy eyes. Eventually another long call to 111 led to a trip to Little France. Due to roadworks it took a longer time than normal to get to RIE and then of course there was no parking. I dropped off WH at ED and eventually got a space. When I got to ED at noon WH was handing in her form. We were out by 12.25 with only advice and no treatment. Different roadworks delayed the journey home.
#1 son, Amelia and I did a quick sweep round Sainsbury's to get BBQ food and then home to get things ready. I felt really rushed.
Olivia and WH had gone back to bed but we got them up when #2 son and H arrived. #1 son did a great BBQ and the threatened thick cloud never arrived. By evening it was clear blue sky again. We moved from lawn to table and back to the lawn again and there was a lot of chat.
There visitors left, the kids went to bed, a d a film was started but I gave up and went to bed just before 10.
Another dramatic day.
PS, Jools Holland had to play on at the Usher Hall without me.
