Crummock weir

Deb has a couple of her old friends staying for a couple of days, so this morning we went over to Crummock - they fancied a swim, I fancied a bit of photography. This shot of the weir at Crummock was taken with a little stopper - just to slow the exposure down a bit. As I was hanging over the wall, a tripod was impossible, so had to rely on the camera and lens stabilisation to allow a hand held exposure of that length.

After an early lunch we had a session booked at Whinlatter Forest on Segways, First time I'd been on one and I absolutely loved it. We were really lucky as the instructor had us as the last booking of the day, so we got an extra half an hour riding through the forest tracks with him.
