A little family

Lovely wander 'up the road' today (Sunday) .... we went out later in the afternoon .... a little cooler by then!

As we started wandering back I spotted some movement in the distance.

Realised it was a little family of Muntjac :-)

Unfortunately I didn't manage to get a photo of the fawn as it disappeared into the long grass but I did manage to get these.

Mum very shortly followed the youngster & Dad stood watching us. He must have decided we weren't a threat as he leisurely turned & followed the rest of the family.

What a treat to see them.
