Stone

The weather has been much more amenable today.  We even had a drop of rain whilst driving to the swimming pool.  Not where I live mind  but the lower temps meant the flowers weren't wilting quite so much.
Had a call from an old friend who'd fallen and broken her hip badly - she'd been in hospital for a week but was now home.  I popped over to take her some bits and spent the afternoon with her.  She's not very mobile yet but getting there - sounded a nasty fall, and painful. She'd fallen in her house, in the kitchen and took a while to get herself to where she could drag her phone off the table and call for help. Ugh....Doesn't bear thinking about how difficult this must have been.  Good to spend a few hours with her before her daughter arrived with medication and a meal.
This sweet little stone was painted and gifted to me by one of my 'swimming ladies'.  She'd used one of my Puffin photos to make several colourful stone gifts!.
