Woke to another beautiful morning, misty in Lerwick. The mist soon burned off, sunny all day and highs of 25⁰c, no air or wind and humid. Clouds around late evening, lovely gentle breeze.
Monday morning, a week starting on the toon essykert, with Philip and Dan. We've been on black bag waste all day and heavy loads. Walkies with Sammy after work, popped by Madeline's. A quiet evening at home, good to get out of the sun. Last walkies before bed.
Most folk are loving this warm weather, although not used to working in it. No outdoor pool in my garden, and sadly no air conditioning in the house either, not like my holiday hotels. 9pm, and the house has cooled down to 23⁰c. Fully insulated, great in the winter, not for a warmer than usual summer. The morning cuppa in the garden is a perfect time to sit out and enjoy a moment to myself. Sunrise is getting later now, 405am today. Hopefully this lovely weather will last for a long time to come, although I do have to apologise to anyone seeing my bare legs in shorts. Looking out from my garden, Hawthorn Cottage, Houl Road, Scalloway.
