Someone Likes Bolets

Oh how I wanted to sleep in! But my body would not cooperate. Hubby was up too early and said his prayers by the camp fire. We enjoyed breakfast under the canopy. We put up our decorative tarp to protect us in case of rain. It also helps keep out the sun’s warmth and traps the fan’s breeze. Such a nice gift. Otherwise, we’ve done very little. We walked our trash to the dumpster and made wraps for lunch. I found this mushroom on my walk to the bath house. You may see more if I have problems finding a blip. There are squirrels, several varieties of birds just waiting for a photo session. We have roasted chicken already prepared for dinner. I will make a side dish. Still have not received an update from my sister so hopefully that means everything is going smoothly. They took our mother out to the Knight’s fried chicken dinner where she saw friends and relatives. Looked like she had a great time. Hubby is napping; wish I could fall asleep as well. He plans to ride a trail on his e-bike when he awakens. We really are enjoying this camp site. Very private and quiet now that the fussy family across the street has gone. I am not sure it was a fun time for them. You can be too young to appreciate being squished up in a tent or confined to a tiny square of property especially since it rained before we got here. Hoping you can spread out and enjoy the beauty in nature. Stay safe. Thanks for your visit. "Mushrooms grow in damp places. That's why they are shaped like an umbrella" - Alphonse Allais
