Red Admiral Days

I have seen dozens of these recently, flocking round the buddleias in flower locally.   There were five on the plant out front, this the one pic that was sharp.  A cooler, breezy day, the wind making it harder than usual to catch a shot of a stationary butterfly!

A quiet sort of day off.   I did a little admin before a walk with C and the Megs.  I was waiting in for a phone call, trying to organise antibiotics for Ruth whose root canal tooth has flared up again, looking like another abscess.   The meds were eventually sorted for collection late afternoon.   Jamie came over with CP, his support worker to collect his beach wheelchair, their aim being to 'walk' to Aberdovey along the beach, jusy over five and a half miles.   They made it, although Jamie's arms turned to jelly after about four miles and he needed some assistance.   I collected them in the car, all three of us enjoying a fish and chip supper before we came home.

I ended the active part of the day at pottery, starting the work of glazing my Green Man.
