Today's essential job was to replace the shower switch as it had become increasingly temperamental in recent weeks. I have done this at least three times before as the high current seems to fry the switch in various ways.  

The trickiest bits are squashing my head against the ceiling while trying to force the very thick cable (50 amp) into the right connections.

Success was proved and a shower was had.
