Last day in Shibuya

Today we tried to do a bit of shopping for clothes. We got off good and early only to find nothing opened until 11!  So we decided to walk the hour or so to the Tokyo Photographic Art Museum. It was a treat, with photos from the beginning of photography to the present, and a special exhibition by Luigi Ghirri.

After that, through the rain, we had another go at the shops with some success, including my main, then back to the hotel for a much needed bevie, followed by dinner. We cruised up the nearby street into the first interesting looking local and on the menu was mackerel seared at the table. Extras 1 and 2 are before and after. Extra 3 is the chef.

Tomorrow we are off to Kamata nearer to Central Tokyo prior to heading to Hokkaido on Thursday. It will be nice not to have to fend for ourselves.
