Fracking ‘eck

Never mind Sussex and ‘the desolate north east’, fracking has arrived in Stratford upon Avon. Whilst everyone’s attention was elsewhere this rig suddenly appeared overnight and the crew started drilling into the ground.

I’ve mentioned this piece of wasteland at the end of our street before on Blip but to date nothing has happened with it except the grass and weeds have grown. Well now the prospectors are moving in, there’s shale in them there hills (except it's flat).

Like everything (well not everything) I say on blipfoto this should all be taken with a large pinch of salt, I’d hate to think I wouldn't be able to drive down the road because of the hordes of eco warriors moving up from Sussex!
