The rains came down...
Finally the RAIN! What an utter relief. Except for those of us who didn't quite believe it would happen all day and who didn't take coats with us to work this morning. Today I have been mostly...damp.
The Bo spent the day 2 of work experience handing out tickets and degree certificates. His observations were wry and hilarious - "some people skipped the queues and then spent longer because they had to go back round. Why would they do that?" and my favourite... "I don't think they should be allowed degrees if they don't know what time their degree ceremony is". I've taught him so well. And we went to the cafe for lunch together which was so lovely.
Otherwise it's been a mixture of meetings and emails and more meetings... the rain arriving of course did not mean I didn't have to get the watering can out as the stupid tomato plants in the stupid greenhouse still needed watering. So I got wet again doing that. But the rain did at least mean I once again had water in the water butt to do this from, so my blip reflects the slight madness of watering in the rain, plus trying to put into practice some of UltraFloop's excellent advice about shutter speeds and ISO... (and taking pictures until I got one I liked helped too...)
