A pathetic crop of potatoes!

As the leaves had wilted/died I dug some of the potatoes…this is the results of about 7 plants! As expected a very poor crop as so little rain this year. Lots of very small potatoes which is barely enough for 2 people. 

This morning I did an early Pilates class and then had a pedicure which was very overdue. Feet now looking presentable and later when I went to Kingston I bought a new pair of sandals. While in Kingston I was just leaving Waitrose to go to the car when an announcement was given out and repeated constantly for everyone to evacuate the building. Luckily I got out of the car park OK…I need not  have paid as the barrier was open. Lots of people and staff on the pavements outside.

Tackled turning out one of the big cupboards on the kitchen which has the frying pans, wok, casseroles etc. cleaned them and the cupboard thoroughly. I have managed to dispose of 3 frying pans. Maybe I will do all the saucepans soon.

We were meant to have rain today..the forecast said 50/60% chance for about half the day. A few spots but that’s all.
