St Swithin’s Day

Will I be wearing wellies for the next 40 days?
After walking Bella this morning Frank and I got the bus into Skipton.
I was looking for a navy 3/4 sleeve cotton top - no! And a white cotton blouse - no!
Never mind, I bought some lovely soap in a gift shop and some old music books and OS maps in Oxfam for collages.
We went for our favourite lunch at Phoebe’s - extra - they’ve changed it a bit, instead of butter beans it crispy tofu, the green stuff on top is roasted kale yum. 
Then we went to Craven Arcade - extra - for a wander and a look in the charity shop there.
Then I went to Specsavers with yet another pair of broken specs which the nice man fixed and went to Timpson’s to get a battery put in my watch - extra. I’m fed up of hunting for my phone to look at the time.

Once home we both had a nap. 
After tea we watched the last episode of Live to 100 - Blue Zones.
Amazing to see so many people around 100 years of age, doing hard manual labour on their land, women chopping logs, growing all the veg, kneading the dough - no machinery. Then meeting up to socialise and dance in the evenings.

Anyway, that’s it for today. 
I may draw a bit before bed.
