Song Thrush

A couple of days ago we noticed two thrushes feeding on our Berberis, which is covered in berries.

It's a long time since we could rely on seeing a thrush in the garden but this year have seen one very occasionally, so two at once was special. Only one in evidence today but at least I caught a shot with the camera.

Later, with all doors closed during this wet day, we were visited by a moth; I lay on the floor to get this photo (extra), as it sat on the paper recycling box under the computer desk. I don't know what it is, I'm sure the knowledge among Blippers can tell me. It has been released outside.
