Heading north

We’ve travelled from the Dordogne to Orleans today , where we are making an overnight stop.

A regular stop off point for us and a stretch of the legs looking for damsel flies was successful, but photographing them was not! Instead you have the view up the river that flows through the site towards Olivet.

Think we’ll sleep well tonight, and my Merlin app picked up a Green Sandpiper. My life list is increasing slowly!
