Median Wasp

A fairly cloudy day with a couple of very light showers. Unfortunately not enough to make much difference to the garden.

I went off to a Zumba class while my husband went out for a bike ride. We both enjoyed ourselves.

After lunch I went down to the allotment intending to do some weeding but ended up spending time staking up the bush tomatoes. They have a number of fruit developing but in the high winds of today they were falling over. I took a few shots of various bees and wasps that were clinging onto the leek flowers on the allotment. I liked this one of a Median Wasp most Dolichovespula media.
