Hedge Sparrow

I'd been wanting a shot of this juvenile dunnock (blue dykie) for a collection of young birds I was doing. It obliged by sitting on the perch during one of the drier less wet spells.

It rained most all of the day. I had a quick trip into town to pick up some printing then we settled to do some sorting. The Man worked in the garage choosing stuff to dispose of. We did the sensible thing and put it in the car and drove to the tip before I had time to change my mind.
