Every day is a proud parent day...

...although today got a bit of added occasion being Eldest's Graduation Day from Classical Studies at Manchester Uni!

She was rather stressed getting ready in the morning but once on campus, became chilled once capped, gowned & into the swing of things. The ceremony was fantastic, especially the closing speech with a pretty inspirational take on facing down bigotry. Her smile spoke volumes as she revealed her result, a 2 - 1, yay :-)

After having a photo taken and returning the cap & gown, she wandered into the city centre with her other Mum, her Grandma, and her three fabulous amigos whilst I nipped home to collect Youngest. We returned on the train to reconvene in Sicilian NQ, a lovely little restaurant in the Northern Quarter with amazing food. Your Gal had Tagliatelle Truffle Portobello which was very very nice, and not one of us left disappointed.
