A busy work day gap filler

Taken Monday as we waited for our train home from Manchester Piccadilly, these two Avanti 'Pendolino' tilting trains were sat on the West Coast Mainline platforms, one just arrived from & the other about to depart to, London Euston.

Have used them twice to London, and once up to Edinburgh & back from Warrington Quay to visit Ms.@Arell. The latter on the return leg was an amazing ride as the train tilted it's way to & fro, racing down from Shap & past Tebay :-)
