Purple loosestrife by the river.

This is a photo taken from the communal garden of a small block of flats where I went to see a friend this morning, she is housebound as she has injured her foot! There was so much tall purple loosestrife that if sitting on a bench you could not see the river! Just opposite is Teddington Lock and from her balcony on the third floor you get great views of all the river activity. A really nice modern flat too.

Another friend popped by for lunch as she had been visiting the opticians nearby.

Then it was off to pick up the grandchildren and take them home. As it is their mothers birthday this weekend I got them both to make cards for her before they came home.

When I got home my son arrived shortly after as he is staying the night  here as he has another meeting to go to relatively near tomorrow.

Now I am off to the AGM of the estate where I live…14 houses and a big block of flats. Most of the discussion is usually about the flats and their expensive service charges!
