Water day

Ugh.  Very nearly driven into on my cycle to work this morning, then immediately after emergency stopping and then starting again, very nearly driven into again.  I have disliked this roundabout for over 25 years.  And to boot, it was pouring with rain and I was soaked by the time I got to work.  It took my clothes and shoes three hours in the drying cabinet to get dry again.

After too many hours I set off home, now in beautiful sunshine (and about 150% humidity).  So I took to the canal again and photographed the Ashley Terrace boathouse from a different angle.  I would have stood at the water's edge bur it didn't occur to me at the time.

From there, to Mum and Dad's to say hello and drop off a jam jar for future jam-making purposes, then headed home to cool down, flop,  make tea, and catch up with Friend Now Extremely in Need.
