Renovation started
The rock garden here at Myddleton Gardens has become very overgrown with weeds and grass . In the spring it looks lovely with many flowering bulbs but not for the rest of the year. There is now a large renovation project and as part of this we've been weeding and leaving just a few select plants. There are several ponds , usually fall of stagnant water, but the plan is to get them relined and water pumped around them as it was in the days of E.A.Bowles who created the area. It was suggested that I should record progress with the work hence this 'record shot' for today.
It was a longer day of gardening than usual and then a quick clean up at home before heading out to a 60th birthday party. Had a great time at a French restaurant, La Petite Auberge, which I've not been to before but I'm sure will return to.
