Nightjar Walk

This evening I went on a walk organised by the RSPB for volunteers to see the nightjars at Llandegla. It was perfect weather and we were fortunate to see them flying around and hear their unique "churring". They didn't appear until  10pm when it was getting a bit dark for photography so my main picture is Pendinas Reservoir which we walked around before going on to the moor. I did try some photos of the nightjar but it was very difficult. The extra (bird 73) is the best one I managed and although it is a silhouette I thought it nicely summed up a great evening.
