Chocolate cake

We had the boys all day as it is still school holidays here. We walked up to the library, pharmacy and Carah’s cafe. E had a huge slice of mud cake and C had caramel slice which they shared. M and O came down after lunch and Bob took two out riding on the bikes.

I spent a considerable time typing the 12 pages of things we take away in the van into my ‘phone lists’. It’s no good being away from home and finding you haven’t got matches or a can opener or towel. I rarely forget anything. The list has a tick box which means you can add and delete easily. Hopefully it will streamline the packing process.

So most of my usual activities have been put off until tomorrow.

We are both feeling a bit better today. I washed the linen from the van and doona etc.

They say it takes 12 weeks to get over a hip replacement. I reached that milestone today. They also say it takes 18 months to get over a knee replacement. By coincidence that anniversary is also today. Yay. Apart from my general stiffness and cold I’m feeling pretty good.
