A surprise visitor
I was going to take JJ up to Castle Ashby's courtyard garden for coffee this morning but not long after breakfast it started to rain and has continued for most of the day. Just heavy drizzle but it's all welcome. This afternoon is hot and humid.
The mower has been collected and taken away for servicing. About time, it sounded really rough.
Our son and elder grandson have been in Wales for a couple of days as a late birthday treat climbing Snowdon. The weather wasn't the best but they had a good trip.
I've hunted high and low for my over the shoulder camera strap to no avail. I have no idea when I last used it but fortunately I bought one for JJ so have pinched that one. Most of the time I use a wrist strap.
This afternoon I was amazed to see a fritillary in the garden so that had to be my image of the day.
