Rye

Cal and I went for a mooch around Rye. For those who don't know it, Rye was an island when Romney Marsh was still marshland, it is a very up and down place; lots of cobbled streets sloping up or down. It has some historic buildings; The Mermaid is probably best known - and that was rebuilt in 1420. Thursday is market day, so we had a wander around that too. The weather was lovely and I had an ice cream, any day that includes an ice cream has to be a good one.
