sea mist all day long

the mist has been persistent today.

it cleared after 6 
and then Noah found a fledgling thrush
and went berserk...he's in solitary confinement at the mo!

note re the eagle:  the house was built by a Colonel Clarke c.1928 and i assume that he installed the eagle.  as small children we loved climbing on it.  the house was commandeered by the army in WW2 and left in such a horrific state that Colonel Clarke let it go...and so it came to our family as it was the dream that kept dad going in his tank in Normandy...should he survive.  and he did. and now i am still here looking after it.
