Victoria

I spent half the day in the orchard pruning the Victoria plum trees. The trees we inherited were sadly neglected and are in need of some restoration pruning. Its difficult to do when the tree is laden with plums but really has to be done now to reduce the risk of silver leaf disease. My blip shows how small the plums are this year and how parched the ground underneath is.
