Elecampane

Can be called elfdock or horse-heal according to the internet. The flowers are just beginning to open here, this stage looks pretty, each year I try to imagine it unfurling, yet to be seen. 

Extra shows the flower open, Ted just now, he was laid back looking cute and the black cat is Rory. He isn’t easy to capture in any sense, generally stays close to home and often found in the garden.  He like to walk with me up the driveway, my aim is to take a straight line, his is to weave in front of my feet, quite sweet once it’s clear he isn’t bothered about tripping me up. He has one white whisker, the others are blackish, likes a chin to head cuddle, my chin, otherwise not keen on close contact.  Although now, each morning, I am allowed to brush and then comb his coat on the understanding he is given a squirt of paste we give to Tiggy for fur balls, it contains malt, oils and fats, they all love it.
