Brown Trout

Another lovely day. A nice walk around the park in sunshine. The only cloud blocks the sun from lighting up Edinburgh Castle, it looks very dark. Very quiet, so most people must be on holiday. It will be quieter tomorrow as I will be on holiday. So this is the last working day of the week as I am off to see my daughter and her family on Thursday.

After work, a walk down to Braidburn Valley Park. In the stream I spot a brown trout doing the fish version of treading water, flipping its tail so it stays in the same spot. Very nice outside, we sit for a wee while, then head home to finish packing suitcases.
