It was a warm sunny morning as we set off across the footbridge to the Nature Reserve at Aberlady We watched a jelly fish swimming under the bridge towards dozens of geese which were swimming and paddling in the shallow water. By the time we had traversed the reserve the tide was even further out on the huge beach so it would have been possible to walk out to the mini submarines. In spite of the good weather we saw only three people on the beach and very few going into the reserve as we made our way back.
