On The Move Again

Marmalade! I loved the variety of them - especially want to try the Orange and Whiskey one!

We started this day in the Kingsbury Water Park Camping and Caravan site in Sutton Coldfield and ended it 170 miles north in Darlington.

We stopped for a lunch break at the Denby Pottery Center in Derbyshire so that we could replenish some of Kevin’s missing dishes. Then met up with Auntie Helen in Heanor nearby and chatted about family history. Once again I had some photos which she was able to shed some light on who and when they were taken. She should me some delightful photos of her and my mum growing up.
So many treasures!
Kevin had a delicious dinner planned for us to share with a delicious Blanc de Noir - a pale pinkish wine made from a Pinot Noir grape that had its skin removed.

Afterwards we went for a walk around the nearby green park. On the second trip around we decided to investigate a passage way which we were curious to see if it led out to anywhere. It turned out to lead to the house of a very friendly lady called Francis, originally from Australia. She was a keen gardener and offered to show us round her gardens!
Life is full of unexpected surprises!
